Despite the snow, now is the time to plan for spring gardens. This Saturday, March 2nd, at 9 a.m. the Washington County Extension Office is holding an informational meeting for 4-H’ers interested in gardening projects in the area.

The meeting is an opportunity for 4-H’ers to see many options regarding the garden project. Shirley Pfeifer, department superintendent, will discuss garden basics and fair requirements. Several resources and workbooks will be available for purchase as well.

Questions may be directed to the Washington County Extension Office at 653-4811.
