Multiple fire departments responded to a fire in rural Louisa County yesterday afternoon. A hog barn that caught fire led to agencies from Louisa and Washington County to be called on scene at around 1. The fire was northwest of Columbus Junction on County Road X17.

Fire departments responding included units from Wapello, Columbus Junction, Grandview, Conesville and Ainsworth.
