Columbus Junction had three girls on Southeast Iowa Superconference All- Conference team and two honorable mentions.
Megan Pretz was a first team all-conference member for the Wildcats with 266 points and 276 rebounds, averaging a double-double on the year.
Wildcat head coach Nate Carlson said he was happy that the conference recognized what Megan did this season.
“She provided great leadership all year long with this team, and we battled adversity all year, but she wasn’t going to let that effect her senior year and she proved that with her play on the floor,” Carlson said. “It was really nice to see that the other nine coaches in the conference recognized what she did this year and how well she played.”
On the second team, Megan’s sister Kelsey Pretz was nominated for her 199 points and 104 rebounds, and Martha Anaya was also second team with 163 points and 116 assists.
Honorable mentions for Columbus were Caitlin Chaney and Shelly Stewart.
