The Demon and Mid-Prairie boys battle for the county once more tonight.

Mid-Prairie had Washington’s number the last time these two team met, getting the win 48-46.

Washington is 4-13 on the year and is shooting 31.7 percent from the field and scoring 44 points per game.

They are led by Kyle Roder with 181 points and Justin Hoffman with 154 points.

The Golden-Hawks are 8-11 and are shooting 38 percent from the floor and scoring 49 points per game.

They are led by Dayton Hall with 206 points on the year.

Golden Hawk head coach Chris Kern talked about the history of this rivalry.

“Whenever Mid-Prairie and Washington get on the court it is always a battle,” Kern said. “We’ve said many time’s when Washington and Mid-Prairie play throw the records out. One team could be undefeated and the other might not have a win and it will be a great game, and more times than not that is the way it is.”
