Washington Demon wrestler Fletcher Green has made it to the State Finals at 113 lbs.

Green wrestled two matches yesterday defeated Colton Milosevich in an 11-5 decision and then Chase Lienhard from Crestwood- Cresco by a 6-1 decision to make it to the state championship round.

Green wrestles today against Zach Less of West Delaware, Manchester. That match will be at 6:30 tonight and will give you update from the Demon basketball game about Green’s run at the state meet.

For Mid-Prairie both Peterschmidt’s won one of their consolation rounds yesterday, with Phirom winning his second round by a major decision over Gabriel Rangel of Assumption and losing in his third round by Jay Reisetter of East Marshall by a 7-3 decision.

Nearoth did the same, winning his second match against Ethan Timmerman of Mediapolis, but falling in the third to Lance Evans of Solon by a 1-0 decision.

For Lone Tree Alex Yedlik fell in his second consolation match to Colton Martin of Alburnett by a pin to eliminate him from the tournament.

Highland’s Travis Cole won his second and third round matches, in the second round he beat Joel Haberman of Clarion-Goldfield by a 10-5 decision, and in the third round he beat Jacob Kock of Alburnett by a 12-0 major decision.
