A committee has been formed to look at the community’s interest in creating a shared building between the City of Kalona and Mid-Prairie School District. At last week’s city council meeting it was decided the committee would see if the proposal is needed or wanted in the city. City Administrator Ryan Schlabaugh says those interested in participating should call city hall. He adds the committee’s first meeting would most likely occur late this month.
