Washington County 4-H members will have a chance to get some training locally. The Food Safety and Quality Assurance Training will be offered at the Washington County Extension office later this month.  The training teaches 4-H members about their role in the food chain and abut using a quality assurance program when raising animals.  The training is required for those members that will be presenting market and breeding beef, bucket bottle, swine, sheep, dairy goats and cattle, meat goats, and rabbits. It’s Saturday February 23 in Washington County.  It will also be offered in Johnson County at a later date
