Longtime U.S. Senator Tom Harkin of Iowa has announced his plans for retirement in 2014. State Senator Sandy Greiner tells KCII News it took everyone by surprise, Democrats and Republicans alike. She says it changes the dynamics of Iowa politics, and adds several people appear to be positioning themselves to make a run for the seat. As for what his legacy will be, Greiner says it will most likely be the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 that he spearheaded.
