With a grant secured, a group in Keota will begin looking at ways to improve their city. Melinda Eakins with Keota Unlimited and the Keota Visioning Committee says through the Iowa’s Living Roadways Community Visioning Program, they’ll receive help from the Iowa DOT, Iowa State University and Trees Forever. At the end of the six month program, the group will have plans or concepts they can then implement. Tonight, a public kickoff meeting is being held at Farmers Savings Bank in Keota at 6pm to get the conversation started.
