The Mid-Prairie boy’s basketball team will play their first round of the district playoffs tonight, and it will be a familiar foe.

The Golden Hawks travel to Iowa City to face Regina for the third time this season, they are currently 0-2 against Regina, losing by just three points in the first game, and two in the second, but maybe the third time is the charm.

Mid-Prairie is shooting 37 percent from the field and scoring 49 points per game.

Dayton Hall is the leading scorer with 222 points in the regular season, behind him four players over the century mark.

The Regals are shooting 40.5 percent from the floor and scoring 53 points per game.

Drew Cook and Kenyon Browning have nearly half of the points scored for Regina with 274 and 267 points on the year respectively.
