The City of Ollie is under a boil advisory, following a water main break. Yesterday morning a Wapello rural water line broke, leaving Pekin Schools and multiple residents of Ollie without running water. Environmental Specialist with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Jon Ryk says the line has been flushed and decontaminated, but as a precautionary measure they’ll wait until bacteria samples are taken before they lift the boil advisory.
