Area emergency personnel responded to a single vehicle accident this afternoon. At around 1:30 a single vehicle accident was reported on US 218 northbound, north of the Highland exit. The driver was transported from the scene via Washington County Ambulance. Other agencies responding include Ainsworth QRS, Riverside QRS, Ainsworth Fire, Riverside Fire, Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa State Patrol.
