A new structure is in process of coming together at the Washington County Fairgrounds. It’s called a round barn. But fair board member Don Lewis says that it actually has eight sides like an octagon. Lewis helped to acquire the barn from its previous owner. He says that after careful consideration of locations of power lines, they were not able to move the barn in one piece from its previous location near Wellman. It’s being taken apart and reassembled.
Lewis says they have not yet decided what will be inside of the space once it’s completely restored.
