Now that the 2013 filing season has begun, the IRS is now accepting tax returns. Loretta Mellinger at H&R Block in Washington says before you start your taxes or bring them to a professional, make sure you have your tax return from last year, as well as your W2, Dividend and IRA documents. The filing deadline for federal returns is April 15th, while the deadline for the state is April 30th.
