The Washington Demon girls will make their final road trip of the season tonight to Ft. Madison.
The Demons offense has struggled in the last two games, missing 10 plus under the basket bunny shots as well as not being able to hit the three ball.
Washington is 11-6 and is shooting 36.1 percent from the floor and scoring 45 points per game.
The Demons have scored 45 points or less in 10 games this season and are 4-6 in those games.
They are led by Lauren Kimball with 130 points and Stephanie Fishback with 127 points on the year.
Demon head coach Phil Long said Johannah Vittetoe will be back in the lineup tonight with limited minutes, and that his team needs to key in on their key players to get the win tonight.
“Well we have to know where that Steffensmeier girl is on the floor, she’s a very quick three point shooter, shooting about 28 percent and can get off a lot of attempts and you really have to be right up on here because she really shoots it about as good as anybody,” Long said. “Then we have to keep a couple of their big girls off the board.”
The Bloodhounds are 3-13 and shooting 32 percent from the floor and scoring 34.5 points per game.
They are led by Caitlin Marshall with 103 points and Rachel Steffensmeier with 100 points on the year.
