This past week Washington High School has celebrated Future Farmers of America, the largest student organization in the United States. According to FFA Advisor at Washington High School, Duane Van Winkle, there are 500,000 members countrywide and 13,000 just in Iowa. He says to celebrate FFA Week and the organization that prepares students for careers in agriculture, they’ve held things like the Ag Olympics, which included events like a pedal tractor pull and feed bucket relay.

He says due to the weather they’ve postponed Tractor Day, where FFA members drive tractors to school, to next Friday.
