After a month of reflection and feedback from the community, the Washington School Board may decide not to go forward with a bond issue. Discussion on the small bond issue to finance the replacement of the high school’s boiler is expected at tomorrow’s board meeting. Washington Community School District Superintendent Mike Jorgenson believes they’ll decide to change course, although he isn’t sure what the alternative will be. No action will be taken, but Jorgenson says after the meeting they should have a plan of action in place.
