An author who spent his summers in Winfield as a youth will talk about and sign copies of his book tomorrow. Peter Gorham, author of Blainie’s Carpet Barn, will be at the Winfield Veteran’s Building at 2pm. Gorham’s book deals with becoming his father’s primary caretaker. At tomorrow’s event he’ll talk about that experience, the health care system, and will also share some stories about visiting his grandparents in Winfield during the 50s and 60s. This event, organized by the Winfield Historical Society, is open to the public.
