Washington County Maintenance Superintendent, JP VanSickle, stated that county roads are slick today but crews have been at work clearing the roadways and putting out salt since 5:30 this morning.
He advised that people drive cautiously.
J.J. Bell, City of Washington maintenance and construction superintendent, added that city roads are slick and that salt is being spread across streets in town. Bell is preparing for more snow that is forecasted to arrive tomorrow.
The current forecast shows Washington County in a winter weather advisory until tomorrow night at 6 p.m.
