The Washington Demon boy’s basketball team had two players make the all conference list.

Kyle Roder was second team all conference for Washington. Roder led the team with 260 points and 51 steals.

Demon head coach Bryce Smeins talked about why Roder was a good pick for all-conference.

“Kyle had a good year for us this year, he was our leading scorer, played as many minutes in the game as we’d let him play, did a nice job on defense had a lot of steals and turnover, and just a young man who worked very hard on basketball growing up, and had some great moments,” Smeins said. “Shot lights out some nights, had a great run at Solon, he got us started that night, and I just think he had had a great season for us.”

Honorable mention for the Demons was Justin Hoffman who had 223 points on the year, 94 rebounds, 26 steals and 10 blocks.

The Demons finished this year 5-17.
