A branch of Americorps stationed in Louisa County has planned a volunteering event. The National Civilian Community Corps and Louisa County Conservation is holding an Earth Day Workday, where they’ll be trimming trails, removing invasive species, and picking up litter at the Virginia Grove Recreation Area. The event is being held from 1 to 4pm today and is open to anyone who wants to help out.
