Washington School Board members had a special session meeting last week. One topic of discussion concerned glitches with students’ schedules, including lost information.

Superintendent of the school district, Dr. Mike Jorgensen, said that multiple factors created the issue, such as the transition of scheduling being for 6th through 8th grades as opposed to the familiar 7th through 9th grades and complications with PowerSchool.

He said that many schedules had to be done by hand, but believes that the issues have been worked out and that the scheduling will be completed electronically in the future.
