Students at Iowa Mennonite School left the classroom, and in some cases left the state, this week. Every other year IMS holds Interterm week, where students and teachers participate in service-learning opportunities. IMS Principal Tony Miller says this year there were ten different projects to choose from, with some students traveling to Chicago to work at a day care, some staying close to home to install a solar panel on the IMS Campus, and others spending the week with local Amish families.
