Following a resignation, the Mid-Prairie School Board will discuss the vacant seat at their meeting Monday. School Board President Jim Hussey says they have 30 days from the day of the resignation to appoint someone. He adds the person who gets appointed will serve until the next election, which is this September. Randy Billups was two years into his term when he resigned at their last meeting. Meaning there will be a two year term up for election this fall, in addition to the usual four year terms.
