Title: Washington County Cattlemen Banquet
Description: The Washington County Cattlemen will hold their banquet on March 23, 2013 at 6pm at the Washington County Conservation Center out at Marr Park. The meal is $15 per person for the ribeye steak meal. There will also be guest speaker. The public is welcome to attend.
Peter Gorham’s father grew up in Winfield, and spent his summers there during the 50s and 60s. On Sunday, Gorham was at the Winfield Veteran’s Building to talk about his book Blainie’s Carpet Barn, which details his experience becoming his fathers primary caretaker. Today we talk about his connections to the area and his book.
