Two Washington men were arrested following an executed search warrant where a methamphetamine lab was found. Thirty-nine-year-old Michael Miller and 30-year-old Jeffrey Marie were arrested for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine. The charges are Class “B” felonies and can be punishable by up to 25 years in prison with a minimum fine of $5,000.
Washington Police, Washington County Sheriff’s Department, the Washington Louisa County Narcotics Task Force, Department of Narcotics Enforcement, Washington County Ambulance and Washington Fire Department all responded to the scene at 322 North Avenue D in Washington. The building has been closed due to hazardous contamination conditions from methamphetamine residue.
