The Washington school district will begin providing school bus drivers for WACO routes. The motion was approved at a special meeting of the Washington Community School Board.

When asked if this transportation agreement would impact school delays, Superintendent of Washington Schools, Dr. Jorgenson, said that the two districts will remain separate entities but that the agreement may make them more likely to be consistent with delays. However, he also pointed out that one district is considerably rural while the other is urban.

The agreement will commence next school year.
