Despite the fourth place finish WACO head coach Shannon Rugg was pleased with how his kids ran.

“It’s probably one of the best nights that we’ve had to run all year long, and luckily we had a lot of good competition, a lot of schools, and I think a lot of teams had people running their best, and we have the two class system, but everyone runs against everybody, so there is a lot of competition, so it is easy to go out and run [personal records or bests] because you’re running against kids who are equal with you,” Rugg said.
