Columbus Wins at Mid-Prairie Golf Invite

Mid-Prairie hosted their golf tournament last night, but it was Columbus Junction who played spoilers and won the tournament.

Columbus shot a 170, for low team score, while Washington was second with a 178 and Mid-Prairie was third with a 218.

The low score for Columbus was between Alex Mincer and Austin Edwards both shooting 42’s.

Washington had three tie at 44, with Dillon De Perrot, Blake Weidman and Derek Anding.

Low score for Mid-Prairie was a 52 shot by Trevor Owens.

Next up for Washington is Ft. Madison and Mt. Pleasant at Mt. Pleasant, Columbus goes to Clear Creek Amana, both on Thursday, and Mid-Prairie will go to Williamsburg tonight for the boys varsity invitational.
