Demon Track and Field Runs Well Without Full Team

The Washington Demon’s girls ran at the West Burlington Falcon Coed relays on Saturday.

The Demon’s did not have all of their girls running, but still placed high in a lot of races.

Macy Marek was second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.88.

Grace Redlinger was first in the 200 meter dash with a time of 30.50

Emma Wood was second in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:22.94.

Addison Gaal was third in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:10.26.

The 4×100 meter relay was first with the team of Amber Salow, Redlinger, Rachel hall and Dema Giardino and a time of 53.84.

The 4×200 meter relay was first with a team of Marek, Hall, Morgan Kimball and Stephanie Fishback with a  time of 1:57.63.

The 4×400 was first with a team of Fishback, Kimball, Mackenzie Knutson and Mariah Reighard with a time of 4:32.44

800 sprint medley relay finished second with a team of Giardino, Hall, Fishback and Marek with a time of 2:05.42.

Washington finished second as a team overall with 131 points. Mount Pleasant was the winner with 214.
