While school’s try to set up their budgets for next school year, they’re still unsure how much state funding they’ll receive. Senator Sandy Greiner says the Senate has passed allowable growth at 4%, and the House at 2%. She says it’s up to the majority leaders in both chambers to direct their respective education committees to work out an agreement. She adds this is something that should have been done a long time ago, but has been stalled by both parties unwillingness to compromise.
