IMS Track and Field Takes Home Some Medals

The IMS girl’s track and field team ran at Danville last night and finished in the top eight in many events.

A second place finish in the high jump for Anya Slabaugh at 4’10” was the best finish of the night for IMS, and she also placed fourth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:11.9.

Riley Schmieder was the best finisher for IMS in the running events with a time of 2:51.61 in the 800, placing her third.

Schmieder also finished fifth in 100 meter hurdles with a time of 19.56.

Kristin Davis was fourth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 30.63, and sixth in 100 meter dash with a time of 14.63.

Camilla Segar finished sixth in the 3000 meter run with a time of 13:58.

Finishing off the meet the 4×100 meter relay was sixth with a time of 1:04.30.

IMS runs again on Monday at Iowa Valley.
