A local bank is getting Keota Elementary students to think about finances during Community Banking Month. Executive Vice-President of Farmers Savings Bank of Keota, Tom Hahm, says they’re accepting posters from students that depict how they would handle money. He explains the goal is to get kids thinking about money and the importance of handling it wisely.
Students in 2nd through 6th grades at Keota have until May 1st to submit their entry. A cash prize goes to the winner selected from each grade.
