Kirkwood Community College has announced that hackers using an international IP address unlawfully accessed the school’s website on March 13. The hackers gained access to personal information from archived applications from February 25, 2005 to March 13th of this year that may include names, birthdates, race, contact information and social security numbers. Reportedly, no financial information was stored in this system.

This affects all Kirkwood locations. According to school officials, those affected by the breach will be notified in writing.
