Work at Lake Darling State Park could begin later this month. DNR Fisheries Biologist Chad Dolan says the weather, and the time it takes to get their permit from the US Army Corps of Engineers could delay the project. The permit they’re waiting for will allow them to dredge the lake. The dredging is expected to take up to three months. If the lake bed is too wet this spring, they would look to try again in late summer.
