Two men whose drug deal was intercepted by law enforcement will have their preliminary hearings next week. According to Eric Weber, Investigator with the Washington-Louisa County Drug Task Force, Justin Paul Piltingsrud and Jason Alan Sperry were arrested this week, following an exchange between the two that involved a large amount of marijuana at Four Corners in Ainsworth earlier this year. Both are charged with possession of a controlled substance and tax stamp violation, class d felonies. After being taken into custody and having initial appearances, Piltingsrud and Sperry posted $5,000 bail yesterday. Their preliminary hearings are set for Friday, May 3rd.
