Spring is upon us, and that means it’s finally time to head into the garden. Washington County Master Gardener, Sheila Gerot, says she started by clearing her garden bed of debris that had blown in and pruned bushes. She says trimming branches keeps shrubs looking younger. She suggests staying out of your garden and off your lawn if it’s particularly wet, to avoid soil compaction.
