Washington and Mid-Prairie Meet on the Pitch Tonight

The Washington and Mid-Prairie boy’s and girl’s soccer teams will battle tonight at Mid-Prairie.

The Washington girls come into the game 1-1, after beating Columbus Junction 3-2, they lost to Clear Creek Amanda 6-0.

Lauren Swan leads the way for the Demons with two goals, behind her is Kayla Schindler with a goal.

The Mid-Prairie girls are 1-1, they also fell to Clear Creek Amana 3-2, but beat West Liberty 10-0.

Meghan Redlinger has four goals on the year, while Alison RIggan has two goals and two assists.

On the boy’s side of things, the Demon boy’s dropped their first game to Columbus Junction 4-1 and hasn’t been in a game since.

Mid-Prairie 1-2, after losing to Clear Creek Amana 3-0 and West Liberty 3-2, they lit up the back of the net against Wapello like the fourth of July, winning 27-0.

Austin Errthum leads the team in goals with eight, and eight assists, while Wyatt Cady is behind him with four goals.

The girl’s game will be first up tonight at 4:30, with the boys to follow.
