It was the fourth year for the Washington downtown cleanup.

Each year Craig Davis and Joe McConnell have organized the cleanup of downtown. In addition to sweeping and trash collection in downtown, they went to Sunset Park and put mulch down to cover bare spots, they did painting at the skatepark, as well as weed killing in downtown. 50 volunteers came down to help with the effort. Joe McConnell says that if you see trash on the ground pick it up, and help Washington continue to be a clean place to live.
