The City of Washington’s garbage contract for three years has been let out for bid. Brent Hinson, City Administrator, states that he will send the information to all previous bidders and municipal contract holders in 30 miles. Initially the motion for a request for proposal failed, but it was reconsidered and passed on a 4 to 1 vote at the special meeting of the council Wednesday evening.
