The Washington eighth grade track team ran at Mt. Pleasant last night.

Mt. Pleasant won the meet with 147 points, while Washington was third with 103.

First place finishes from Washington was the 4×200 meter relay in a time of 1:46.51 and a team of Matt Reighard, Ryan Loy, Kyle Schindler and Drake Brezina, the shuttle hurdle relay with a team of Kyle Anderson, David Bradford, Reighard and Loy and a time of 1:05, the 4×400 with Trey Van Weelder, Anderson, Schindler and Brezina in a time of 4:09.31, and Schindler won the 200 meter dash in a time of 24.9.

Not finishing first at the meet, but breaking a school record was David Bradford in the 10 flight hurdles. Bradford ran a time of 15.316, beating the old school record held by Alex Gonzales of 15.52.
