On Saturday, Washington letter carriers, in an effort with Campbell Soup Company, will be participating in the Stamp Out Hunger program. This is a single day food drive that has taken place across the country for nine consecutive years. On Saturday, residents are asked to leave a sturdy bag containing non-perishable food items that will then be collected by area letter carriers along their postal routes as they deliver mail. The food donations will be taken to the Church of God food bank.
