Landowners with expiring CRP land or those with land not enrolled in CRP are encouraged to attend one of the many upcoming informational meetings. One of the Conservation Reserve Program meetings is being held at the Sigourney Public Library next Thursday at 6pm. Out of the 1.5 million acres enrolled in the program around 180,000 of those are set to expire at the end of September. A general sign up will begin Monday and end on June 14th. A webinar is also available, for those not able to attend.
