The County Attorney’s office has collected $16,300 in delinquent fines and has proposed spending $1,300 for computer equipment and the remaining $15,000 on employee bonuses in the office. County Attorney Larry Brock states he hasn’t seen anything that says the department can’t, however County Auditor Dan Widmer says that he has spoken with personnel at the state office which sees some issues with it. There was some discussion about the money being part of salaries and having to be determined at budget time. The supervisors approved to put the revenue into an account for the future but have not decided the final word on the bonuses because it is a separate issue that has to be considered on its own at a later time.
