A formal recommendation, regarding a partnership with a local school district, will be given to the Kalona City Council this evening. A survey was conducted in the city with a goal of determining the public’s interest in a community building that would benefit both Mid-Prairie School District and the City of Kalona. At Kalona’s Facility Needs Assessment Committee meeting last week, the results from the survey were compiled. Their recommendation will be presented tonight at the council meeting.
