The Washington eighth grade track and field team won their last meet of the year that was at home at Case Field.

Washington came away with 123 points while Mt. Pleasant was second with 112.

The Demons had six first place finishes including the shuttle hurdle in 1:04.16 with Kyle Anderson, Noah Bruns, Austin Hazelett and David Bradford. Kyle Schindler won the 100 and 200 meter dash with a 12.45 and 25.92.

The Demons also won the 4×200 with a time of 1:46.68 with Matt Reighard, Ryan Loy, Schindler and Drake Brezina, the 4×100 in a time of 51.75 and with Bryce Craff, Reighard, Bruns and Brezina, and capped off the night with a win in the 4×400 in 4:09.73 with Trey Van Weelden, Anderson, Craff and Brezina.
