As temperatures rise more people are Frisbee golfing in the area. Park Superintendent Tim Widmer says that those who like to Frisbee golf should visit Washington’s course, as it is designated the longest disc golf course in Iowa. Widmer adds that he has already been approached about hosting disc golf tournaments on the course.
The nine-hole course is found on the west side of Sunset Park. Tee off is near the pool, which is opening on May 25th.
