Representatives from the cities and counties in the English River watershed met in North English Tuesday. Jody Bailey, the assistant who’s helping Kalona form the English River Watershed Management Authority, says the meeting went over the reasons for creating the coalition and addressed concerns surrounding a 28-E agreement.
Another meeting has been set for June 11th for land and business owners and residents of the 16 communities in the watershed that will go over the same information. A location has not been decided on.
