Republican Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky was recently in Iowa. He was the keynote speaker at the Iowa Republican Party’s Lincoln Dinner on May 10th in Cedar Rapids, stirring speculation of Paul seeking a presidential nomination in 2016. Senator Chuck Grassley says that he does not usually take a stance in supporting any candidate in the Iowa caucus but says that Paul is “a good senator and a man of principal.”
Paul is also visiting early primary states New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada in the next couple of months.
