IMS and Lone Tree Baseball Square Off on KCII

Iowa Mennonite Baseball is on the air tonight when they take on Lone Tree.

IMS is 0-1 this season after losing 7-4 to Mediapolis on Monday.

Cameron Gingerich this year has two runs, but went 0-2 in the game. Aaron Ockenfels has two RBI’s and is hitting .250 after one game for IMS.

Pitching wise IMS threw Cameron Gingerich who has had a week of rest coming into tonight’s game. He threw seven innings, allowed eight hits, seven runs with just two earned, two walks and seven strikeouts against Mediapolis.

Lone Tree brings back their leading hitter in Andy Dodson with a .376 average, Logan Forbes and Jordan Quigley also come back with Forbes hitting .357 last year and 21 RBI’s and Quigley hitting .333 last year, 20 RBI’s and two homers.

Dodson also is the best returning pitcher, with a 9-3 record last year, 1.97 ERA and 96 strikeouts.
